HOW I WORK

1.

My service is completely bespoke, and no two projects are the same. I pride myself on efficient project management and I guide clients through every step of the design process, from concept to the finished result.

2.

I begin with a free 1-2hr consultation either at your property or via Zoom, whichever you are most comfortable with. I will have an in-depth discussion about your brief and budget.  I’ll discuss the architecture, functionality, light, colour scheme, style and timeframe. I’ll also take photos and measurement.  I’ll explore possibilities and ideas, share styles and colour preferences.  I have colour charts and reference books to help you articulate what it is you’re looking for from the design.

3.

From the consultation meeting, I’ll put together some ideas, develop mood-boards and collate samples.

4.

I will then request a second meeting with you to present the first draft of the design.

This will include a moodboard, presentation, samples for a new colour scheme, including wallpaper, paint, furniture and lighting ideas, any carpentry, accessories, curtains and blinds. All accompanied with high spec rendered illustrations of the design to help you visualise the end result.

5.

Once the design is approved, I will then contact our suppliers and source a range of furniture, fixtures and fittings to fit with the design and scheme.  Plus, I contact our trusted tradespeople who make it all happen. I work with a wide network of specialists including craftspeople, architects, illustrators, upholsterers and manufacturers. Together, I manage your purchasing and works, so you don’t have to.

6.

I’ll often visit workshops with clients for a hands on and detail led approach.  I want you to feel the design process is fun and rewarding.

7.

I will then request a 3rd and final meeting along with the trades for final approval. Go through a full budget breakdown, timelines and final design decisions before the work starts.

8.

Once all the trades have gone, I then come in and dress the room with the furniture, soft furnishings and accessories, and leave you to enjoy your new space.
